While KuCoin Exchange offers a secure custody solution to keep your cryptos safe, you may still want to experiment new ways to have full control of your assets. If this is your choice, you should always store your assets in a secure, self-custodial wallet like Halo Wallet. However, once you fully control your private keys and secret phrases, it’s up to you to keep them safe.

Read on to learn how you can transfer your cryptos from KuCoin Exchange to Halo Wallet in a few steps.

How to Withdraw Cryptos From KuCoin Exchange?

Before you can get started withdrawing your cryptos from KuCoin Exchange, you will first need to set up Halo Wallet.

Download the Halo Wallet App on your phone and create or import your wallet. (Skip this step if you’ve already set it up.)

Next, go to , log into your account, and check your KuCoin account’s wallets to see the cryptos you hold.

Alternatively, you can access your KuCoin account using the KuCoin mobile App on your phone.

Now, you can transfer the cryptos you hold on KuCoin Exchange to KuCoin Wallet with the following steps:

Step 1: Get receiving address on Halo Wallet

  1. Open the Halo Wallet App. Tap on the third button on the bottom and navigate to your asset page. Click the [Receive] button.

  1. Input the token you want to receive in the search bar. Click on it to select the token. For the purposes of this guide, we will use USDT.

  2. Choose the network and copy the USDT wallet address.

Step 2: Withdraw cryptos from KuCoin Exchange to Halo Wallet

  1. Head to your KuCoin account and click [Withdraw].

  2. Select the token you want to withdraw β€” in this case, USDT. Paste the USDT wallet address copied from Halo Wallet and choose a corresponding network. Input the amount you wish to withdraw, then click confirm to proceed.

  • Note that you can only withdraw from your KuCoin Main Account or Trading Account, so make sure to transfer your cryptos to the Main Account or Trading account before attempting withdrawal.

  1. The security verification window will pop up. Fill in the trading password, verification code, and the 2FA code to submit the withdrawal request.

Alternatively, you can also access your KuCoin account using the KuCoin App on your phone. Log in to your KuCoin account, then tap [Assets Withdraw] to enter the withdrawal page. Select a token, fill in the wallet address, and choose the corresponding network. Input the amount, then tap [Confirm] to proceed.
