How to make cross-chain swaps on Halo Wallet?

Halo Wallet has partnered with Meson to launch the native cross-chain swap function, enabling users to directly bridge tokens across multiple blockchains supported by Halo Wallet.

How to make cross-chain swaps?

Step 1: Enter the swap page

Open the Halo Wallet App and navigate to your asset page. Click [Swap] and enter the “Swap” page.

Reminder: Please update your Halo Wallet App to the latest version(V 2.9.0) in order to use the cross-chain swap feature.

Step 2: Make a cross-chain swap

1. On the “Swap” page, directly tap the token and choose the one you wish to trade from the token list. We’ll take swapping from USDT(Polygon) to USDT(BNB Chain) as an example.

Note: Currently, only the cross-chain swaps for stablecoins are available. Stay tuned on additional trading pairs in future updates.

2. Click [Select token] and then choose the token you wish to receive. Remember to choose the right blockchain network.

3. Enter the amount of either token. The amount of the other one will be calculated and displayed automatically. If it’s your first time using the cross-chain swap function on Halo Wallet, you will need to grant permission for the swap.

Follow the on-screen instructions to approve the transaction.

Once the approval is granted, click [Swap] to proceed. A confirmation page will appear with details of your swap. Review the details carefully. Confirm the swap by clicking [Swap] again to complete the trade.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully perform a cross-chain swap using Halo Wallet! 🎉
